iPhone OS 3.0 and iPhone SDK 3.0 !

As you iPhone fans have heard, Apple have released the new iPhone OS 3.0 to developers and the new iPhone SDK for 3.0…

Yes, you’ve guessed it!

I’ve got the new iPhone OS 3.0 and currently downloading and installing the SDK to check out the long list of brand new APIs.

What does this mean?

This means that I’ve got early access to the firmware and developer kit so I can get stuck into developing for the new OS.

Can we expect changes soon?

Once the iPhone OS 3.0 is available for the public I’ll be updating my apps with some cool new features including the shake API and even more. Until then I’ll be updating a few of my apps with new features already planned before OS 3.0 was announced.

What updates will we see before we can all get 3.0?

Well here is a small list of things you will see very soon in the future:

iMood (Version 1.3) – New features will include Facebook Connect to be able to update your Facebook with your iMood.
Twitterville (NEW!) - A brand new Twitter client for the iPhone which will include a number of cool features. This will greatly improved when every is allowed to get iPhone OS 3.0 with cool new API’s.
DonkPad (Version 1.1) – DonkPad will be seeing a new update soon with user selectable skins different locations for buttons.

I will be posting other app updates when I feel it is the right time to announce them!

DonkPad Lite Available! (And DonkPad 1.0.1 update)

photoDonkPad Lite is now available!

As of last night there have been two new updates revolving around DonkPad. Firstly DonkPad (Full version) has now been updated to version 1.0.1 and can be downloaded as an update for free. Also, DonkPad Lite is now available for download! This is a free version with less features than the original full DonkPad and should only be used as a try out before buying the full version.

iPhone app project & other random stuff.

I’ve now been working on my new iPhone App for a couple of weeks and most of the bugs have been sorted out and a lot of the code has been cleaned up. I’ll be posting an announcement once I have been accepted into the iPhone Developer Program (should be soonish), and then again once my app has reached the App store.

I have also done a complete revamp of my iPhone App, and now mainly I’ve just the graphics to make and apply and then it should be nearly complete!

Once my app has been released, I will be updating it every so often to bring in enhanced features and GUI changes (as well as any bug fixes that may occur in open testing). I will then start developing my next application project will is still on the drawing board. If anybody has any ideas of an app they would like to see, please go forth and send me a message or comment on here. I will definitely consider it for review.

In other random news, I’ve now been taking a lot of my time using Twitter! I’ve found it pretty random, but nevertheless, pretty fun! Met some great people on there such as @technicalfault @swanny and specially @stroughtonsmith.
